자율주행 택시 로보라이드 강남도로에서 시범 운행

[KDSN] Kim seoung-ho main reporter = Thursday(June 9day) morning, Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon and Land Ministor Won Hee-ryong were the first passengers for the self- driving RoboRide taxi.

Roboride remotely support the ability to change lanes in situations where autonomous driving is difficult, such as construction sections and children's protected areas, by monitoring autonomous driving conditions, vehicle conditions, and routes in real-time through Hyundai and Kia's own control systems.

As a result, self-driving cars and robo-riding taxis will be able to carry passengers and operate on their own. 

It is still in its early stages, so drivers will ride and operate through some interventions, and passengers will use Roboride taxis through smartphone apps.

It will be open to the public as early as August this year, and a pilot robot service will be operated from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

[한국다선뉴스] 김승호 대기자 = 지난 9일, 서울시 오세훈 시장과 국토교통부 원희룡 장관은 이날 오전 강남대로 3.4km 20분간을 현대차·기아가 자체 개발한 로보라이드 택시를 탔다.

첫 승객으로 자율주행 택시인 로보라이드를 이용해 복잡한 강남 대로 시범 운행에 참여했다.

로보라이드 택시는 현대차·기아는 자체 개발한 관제 시스템을 통해 자율주행 상태와 차량 상태, 경로를 실시간으로 모니터링 하여 공사 구간이나 어린이 보호구역 등 일부 자율주행이 힘든 상황에서는 차로 변경 기능 등을 원격으로 보조해 안전성을 높였다.

이로서 자율주행 4단계 자동차, 로보라이드 택시는 승객을 태우고 스스로 운행할 수 있게 되었다. 

아직은 초기 단계라 운전자가 타고 약간의 개입을 통해 운행하며 승객은 스마트폰 앱을 통해 로보라이드 택시를 이용할 전망이다.

이르면 올 8월부터 일반에 공개되어 월~금요일 오전 10시부터 오후 4시까지로보라이드 시범 서비스가 운영될 예정이다.

오세훈 서울시장은 "자율주행 인프라 제공 등 시민의 삶과 도시 공간을 바꾸는 미래상을 제시하고 있다" 며 적극적인 지원을 약속했다.
